Johann Woringer

CEO & Founder

Johann is the Swiss mastermind behind Wiz-Team. The event manager turned tech entrepreneur built this dynamic and fast-growing company to fill a gap in the market. From Wiz-Team headquarters in his hometown Lausanne, he oversees a global network of developers and experts, who support the company’s mission to empower event professionals through smart, intuitive, and innovative digital solutions.  

He has 25+ years of experience in event data management and has delivered innovative event management solutions to every Olympic Games edition since 2004, alongside a range of other international events. Having worked across many sectors — including sports, medical, corporate, and government – Johann has acquired exceptional knowledge and experience in various types and sizes of events.  

Tim Goethals

COO

After 18 years working in sports, Tim knows first-hand the complexities and needs of the sport sector, and specifically those of the Olympic Movement. Armed with this knowledge, Tim has been instrumental in driving Wiz-Team’s business development since he joined the company in 2017.

Cathy Chapman

Senior Programme Manager

Cathy is leading some of Wiz-Team’s newest and most exciting major event projects bringing Games management solutions and support to some of the world’s largest sporting events and organisations out there. She brings a diverse portfolio of multi-sport event technology experience, including Olympic and Paralympic Games, Commonwealth Games and European Championships.

In addition to her wealth of knowledge and insights from the sport events industry, Cathy also brings decades of know-how from other industry sectors including the UK’s Department of Health, in Telecoms, Financial Services and for the Enterprise and Skills Agencies in Scotland.

Danielle Lopez

Head of Business Development and Engagement

Strategy-savvy and solutions-orientated, Danielle oversees the development of Wiz-Team’s new products and services and is instrumental in the field of product delivery. 

Previously, Danielle served for almost six years in different event management, strategic planning, and operational roles at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC). Most frequently running lead on the full vertical of delegation management, Danielle has planned and delivered on over 10 major/multi-sport and international events from the athlete, the National Olympic Committee, and the Local Organising Committee perspective.

Flurina Rohr-Knapp

Chief of Staff

Flurina joined Wiz-Team in early 2023 as its first ever Chief of Staff to lead the implementation of a dynamic organisational structure and support. Previously, Flurina worked in a private insurance company where she followed a ten-year scaling journey of the company’s Communication & Sponsoring strategy.

From team and organisational strategy to brand positioning, Flurina is well-versed in growth and change and will be imparting her invaluable experience and knowledge to support Wiz-Team with its next chapter. 

Max Shishov

Wiz-Team Ukraine Director

Max has made his hobby his profession and has been tirelessly programming and developing web projects, CRM-Systems, client infrastructures and mobile applications since 1998. Today, he shares his passion for creating new digital solutions with Wiz-Team and oversees the team of developers based in our Kiev office.

Max’s strength lies in mapping a client’s needs onto a digital solution and system infrastructure. His skills in understanding needs and transforming them into digital solutions helps to accelerate the development process, building tailor-made and revolutionary solutions while optimising internal resources. 

Stefano Rigat

Wiz-Team Italia Director

Stefano oversees the management and growth of Wiz-Team’s fourth location, and second development arm, in Torino, Italy. 

Previously, Stefano served as a Senior Director at Deltatre where he spent 17 years supporting organisational growth and leading the delivery of their technical solutions for some of the most exciting and challenging sport events in the world including the FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro, the Olympic Games, the National Football League, and many more. 

Anna Hellman

A native Swede, Anna has been an integral part of the international sports movement for much of her professional life. She started her career in the sports industry in 2000 as COO for The World Sports Forum, organising the annual event in St. Moritz, Lausanne, and Doha/Qatar. From 2004 to 2012, she served as Executive Director for the SportAccord Convention, before joining Além International, an experienced marketing and event management agency specialised in sport and corporate events. Today, she serves as Director of ThinkSport, a not-for-profit association founded by the Canton de Vaud and the International Olympic Committee, working with sport organisations, academic institutions, start-ups and businesses to build bridges and accelerate sustainable innovation capabilities.

Ciaran Quinn

Ciaran Quinn is an international media and technology executive with a strong background in sports. He has worked as a C-level executive, most recently as Chief Commercial Officer of Deltatre; founded companies; helped buy and sell companies; been a board member of public and private firms, and an external advisor for technology companies. With extensive global experience in digital media and technology dating to 1995, he has worked on groundbreaking digital projects that have changed and improved the ways people access media. Currently he operates his own boutique advisory company, VEO2, which advises C-Level executives on matters including commercial strategy and business growth. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley (USA) where he was student body co-President, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from R.P.I. A dual Irish and US citizen he has lived in Europe since 1992.

Frank Eckhard

German-born Frank was raised in France before returning to his homeland to obtain his engineering degree. His experience in multicultural environments as well as his varied business experience – from heavy-duty machinery to high-resolution mass spectrometers – laid the foundations for his hiring by the world’s largest watchmaking corporate The Swatch Group (TSG). Having been an executive manager and board member of major TSG companies such as Longines, Swiss Timing, ETA, among others, Eckhard now dedicates his time to support various organisations linked to his past activities on a freelance basis and to his many hobbies.

Keith Carter

Keith is an experienced business leader with a strong financial background and knowledge of (bio)pharmaceuticals, healthcare, IP development, finance, and investment banking. An entrepreneurial self-starter with public and private, mature and start-up company experience, Keith is highly numerate and articulate, independent and computer-literate. A good communicator and negotiator, he is fluent in English and French. In addition to internal CEO roles of building and changing the business, he is experienced in external plc roles, dealing with investor relations and PR as well as professional advisors. Keith holds an MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
