Wiz-Team wrapped 2025: People, product and partnerships in action
From exciting new client partnerships to major global events, 2025 has been another exceptional year for Wiz-Team. Behind the scenes, our teams have also been working tirelessly on groundbreaking product innovations designed to redefine event management and elevate the Wiz-Team experience.
One thing is certain – there’s still plenty more to come.
We began 2025 with a strong focus on strengthening Wiz-Team’s organisational structure while continuing to scale and enhance our event management platform, Event-Works. Our motivation was clear: to bring exceptional and reliable products to market that support our international, regional and national clients and partners across some of the world’s most complex events and industries.
Before heading into 2026, we take time to reflect on what the year has brought – from achievements and growth to valuable learnings and unforgettable moments across the globe.
So here it is – our 2025 wrap!
Partnerships: building trust, creating opportunities
Partnerships have truly been at the heart of our work this year. From major sports organisations like World Rugby, the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) and the Islamic Solidarity Games to global institutions including the European Commission, the European Parliament and the World Council of Churches, we were proud to expand our client base, broaden our reach across diverse sectors, and further strengthen relationships with our long-standing client and partners.
This trust continues to fuel long-term collaboration and shared ambition across every partnership we build.
Product: scaling events, powering experiences
In 2025, over 200 events were delivered using the Event-Works platform, ranging from general assemblies of 2’000 participants to some of the world’s largest sporting and institutional events, serving more than 50 unique clients.
Including our work with the EU institutions, our tools supported the management of over 1 million participants across events, meetings, conferences and championships worldwide, including:
- SuperBowl LIX and the Aer Lingus College Football Classic
- Women’s Rugby World Cup
- IIHF World Championships, World Juniors and Annual Congress
- Games of the Small States of Europe (GSSE) 2025
- ONOC General Assembly
- MEI Hosts and Federations Summit and Events Summit
- Islamic Solidarity Games
- FIBA Semi-Annual Congress
- FIM Awards – to name but a few.
Several clients have already begun piloting EVO modules to support a smooth transition – including our new Volunteer Management platform for World Rugby – and we’re looking forward to rolling out even more features and capabilities in the year ahead.
These innovations were also recognized by the industry, with Wiz-Team receiving the MEI Best Innovation Product Award in October 2025 and the Scale-Up Vaud 2025 label from regional innovation agency Innovaud.
People: the beating heart of Wiz-Team
As we like to say, Wiz-Team is first and foremost a people-centric company. Despite our continued growth, we firmly believe that the talent, passion and expertise of our team remain the foundation of our success.
In 2025, we took important steps to support our future growth and innovation by:
- Launching Wiz-Team USA, now operational in Denver, Colorado
- Expanding our Advisory Board
- Hosting another successful edition of our Client Workshops, strengthening knowledge-sharing and connection
- Welcoming a new Sales Team
- Being recognized as one of the most attractive employers in sport
Future outlook
With strong foundations in place, we enter this new Olympic year ready to build, innovate and deliver at even greater scale.
But before jumping into 2026, we would like to sincerely thank our teams, Advisory Board members, clients, partners and friends for being part of our journey, for your individual contributions, your trust and your continued support as we move forward together.
From all of us at Wiz-Team, we wish you all a happy, healthy and festive new year!
