The Power of Partnership: Wiz-Team and TPT Hub Supporting the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 and National Games Berlin 2022

As Supporters of the Games, Wiz Team and TPT Hub are providing the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 with digital solutions for Arrivals & Departures, Transportation, Accommodation and Awards Scheduling. This project is an exciting opportunity for Wiz-Team, TPT and our partners to magnify the power and precision possible when bringing together three highly experienced providers under one integrated solution.

The Special Olympics World Games are the largest sports and social inclusion event on the planet—advancing a world of full inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities in sports, education, health and leadership. The Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 will feature 7,000 international athletes from over 190 nations across 26 summer sports and two demonstration sports. This is the first time Berlin will host this captivating and inspiring event which celebrates the transformative power of sport in communities around the world. Though the main event will take place from 17 to 25 June 2023, Berlin will also hold the National Games this summer from 19 to 24 June.

Wiz-Team and TPT Hub, together with our partner Iventis, will provide a highly innovative and fully integrated set of tools that will help manage and deliver the logistical journey of over 15,000 participants at the World Games from touch-down to take-off.

How will we make this happen?

> Wiz-Team’s Event-Works will take the lead in managing the data collection and sharing of accommodations, arrivals and departures, and API integrations;

> TPT Hub’s Fleet Management System and EntryHub app will support time-saving on-demand transportation services throughout the Games ecosystem; and;

> Iventis will oversee the careful planning and implementation of awards ceremony schedules.

From the head offices in Lausanne, Switzerland, Wiz-Team CEO Johann Woringer said: “This is yet another brilliant example of the value of partnership and how the close collaboration of specialists in different areas of event management can truly challenge the status quo and reveal new insights into optimising event delivery.”

Konstantin Voronov, CEO of TPT hub adds: “TPT Hub is proud to be a Supporter of the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 and the National Games Berlin 2022. Our collaboration with both Wiz-Team will allow us to demonstrate how, through combined IT synergies, we will usher in a new era in event planning and operations.”

Ilias Despotopoulo, Chief Technology Officer of the LOC, says: “Technology partners can enable inclusion for athletes, officials, and guests of honor in the run-up to the 2023 World Games. With supporters like TPT Hub and Wiz-Team bringing their extensive knowledge of the events industry and innovative IT solutions to our Special Olympics events, the overall experience will be enhanced for all of our participants at the Berlin 2022 National Games and the Berlin 2023 Special Olympics World Games.”
